aparigraha and being where your feet are
when i quit dance, temporarily, i started doing yoga. i was an avid 7 am goer and in late 2024 i got my 200 hour certification. they taught us all about anatomy, asana (postures), and the eightfold yoga path. i am far from enlightenment, but what that training taught me is that yoga is ultimately a spiritual practice. the physical element serves to facilitate spiritual alignment. the yamas and niyamas are the first two limbs on the path and "establish a foundation for a balanced, conscious life". tapping into such purposeful movement brings me closer to that elusive state of balance. i continue to be inspired by movement creators in the dance and yoga space and especially my mentor and friend, leah soboroff. my practice helps me stay present. my mind is clearest when i'm practicing and teaching. flow state!
my offerings
group classes
i primarily offer vinyasa flow and create much of the flow on the spot. i work from a structure and have a web on postures and transitions in my mind that i weave through in each class. each flow brings its own surprise challenges to the expand what we think we are capable of. there is space for self exploration to invite a sense of play, and thoughtful cues to increase mind-body awareness. i approach yoga the way i approaches life, with intention, intuition, and trying my best to embrace aparigraha (non-attachment)— always scored by an original playlist.

private and semi private
i am always open to new one on one clients. i'd love to chat about what you're looking for and see how we can work together to get you what you need. It can change even day to day, season to season. sometimes it's strength and power. sometimes it's mobility and flexibility. sometimes it's relaxation and meditation. private (one on one) or semi private (you and another person). house calls or third party space available with notice. getting on the mat is half the battle.
events
brand events, birthday parties, bachelor/ bachelorette events, retreats. a little yoga to ground everyone and get the blood flowing is a great way to begin an event or begin the day. a little yoga to unwind and reflect is a great way to end an event or end a day. i recently taught an impromptu class on a weekend girls trip to palm springs. we were pool/lake side with towels for mats. bringing yoga to your event can be magical and memorable.
